• “.com” is the extension.

The domain name precedes the extension and it’s the part of the domain that makes a website unique, and, by analogy, a company, an individual, a project, etc.

Domain extensions are related to countries, business operations, activities, etc.
Am example of a country-related extension would be “.hr”, which signifies that the domain is related to Croatia. Some examples of business extensions are “.biz”, “.org” and “.com”.
Apart from the previously mentioned extensions, there are many others that cover a wide variety of areas, from professions and services to hobbies. Some examples of such topical extensions are, among others, “.apartments”, “.fitness”, “.pizza”, and “.news”.

A dedicated server is a physical server that uses hardware resources that are accessible only to you, and you have full control over the server. Dedicated servers offer you a strong, reliable hardware, located at our cutting-edge data centre, which is cost-saving since there are no expenses regarding the procurement of a server, placing it in a data centre and maintaining it.

Your only obligation, after the domain has been registered and redirected to nameservers, is to renew it when it expires.

There are two types of .hr domains: free and paid domains.

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A FREE AND A PAID .HR DOMAIN
A free .hr domain can be registered by all legal entities (companies, associations and other legal persons) and self-employed natural persons (tradesmen, medical doctors, attorneys, artists, etc.) based in the Republic of Croatia.

Paid .hr domains can be registered by all legal and natural persons based in the Republic of Croatia which hold an “OIB” (Croatian Personal Identification Number), as well as legal persons based in the EU which hold a VAT ID.

RULES FOR NAMING FREE .HR DOMAINS
The name of a domain pertaining to a legal person must contain its registered name, its shortened registered name, an acronym of its name or an abbreviation containing the syllables of a multi-word registered name.
The name of a domain pertaining to a self-employed natural person must contain their registered name, their shortened registered name, an acronym of their name, an abbreviation containing the syllables of a multi-word registered name or an indication of their activity, as well as their first name, last name or full name.
There are no particular limitations regarding names of paid domains.

The service is paid for on a monthly basis, and the amount depends solely on the number of e-mail accounts you create and the size of leased space.

The MyDataKnox Veeam Cloud Connect Backup service ensures a backup repository on a remote location, within the MyDataKnox cloud, that you can access through your Veeam console.

In simple terms, we could describe a DNS as a domain address book. The EPP key, also known as Authorization code, is one of the safeguards against unauthorized transfers of domain name registrations. The EPP key is required when transferring .com, .org, .net and various other domain names. You cannot initiate a domain name transfer for these domain extensions without an EPP code.

A domain transfer starts with a domain transfer order on our website. Upon ordering a transfer, you’ll need an EPP authorization code for most extensions, which you can get from your existing registrar, and the domain must be unlocked for transfer.
