NAME REQUIREMENTS FOR .COM.HR DOMAINS There are no requirements in terms of domain names (apart from technical requirements regulated by Carnet’s Ordinance). Considering the fact that there are no special requirements in terms of a domain name, the users must adhere to the Ordinance insofar as to refrain from registering domains that would violate intellectual property rights (trademarks and brand names). Those types of domains must not be sold nor provided to third parties. Should it become established that a domain is being exclusively or mostly used by a person not registered as its user, the domain will be deleted.
The EPP key, also known as Authorization code, is one of the safeguards against unauthorized transfers of domain name registrations. The EPP key is required when transferring .com, .org, .net and various other domain names. You cannot initiate a domain name transfer for these domain extensions without an EPP code.
A domain transfer is actually a change of registry. It’s important to note that the transfer pertains only to the domain, not the hosting content. In other words, your domain can be registered with one provider, and the hosting (content) with another.

A domain name is arbitrary and you can use any name you prefer, as long as a domain with that name hasn’t already been registered. You can check the availability of your preferred domain here.
You can use all the letters of the alphabet, numbers and hyphens. Even though it’s possible for domain names to contain special characters, such as letters used in languages other than English (e.g. š, đ, ž, ć, č), this should be avoided.
In order to check the number of users on your cPanel server, all you need to do is log in to WHM on the server and click on “List accounts”. The page that will open will display all the users on that server and their total number.

The duration of a domain transfer can be divided into two groups:

Prior to the transfer, the current registrar of the domain must unlock it for transfer, and an order for transfer must be placed with MyDataKnox. After the payment is complete, you’ll receive an e-mail containing a link for transfer confirmation. As soon as you click on the link in the e-mail and confirm the transfer, it should be executed in a matter of minutes.
.com, .net, .org, .biz, .info and other extensions The transfer of these domains takes 5 to 7 days. Prior to the transfer, the current registrar of the domain must unlock it for transfer and request an EPP authorization code which enables the transfer. After you’ve received the EPP code, you can place a domain transfer order with MyDataKnox. After the payment is complete, you’ll receive an e-mail containing a link for transfer confirmation. As soon as you click on the link in the e-mail, the process of transferring the domain from your previous registrar to MyDataKnox will start. In order for your domain to display content, the content (web pages, images, etc.) must be located on a server which executed your website’s code and serves its contents. MyDataKnox web hosting service gives you access to that kind of server.
A domain transfer starts with a domain transfer order on our website. Upon ordering a transfer, you’ll need an EPP authorization code for most extensions, which you can get from your existing registrar, and the domain must be unlocked for transfer. After you pay for the transfer, which is necessary since a domain is automatically prolonged for a year upon transfer, you’ll confirm the transfer by clicking on a link sent to you by e-mail. Afterwards, it’ll only take a couple of minutes up to a few days, depending on the registrar and the domain extension, until the transfer is complete.
Each additional activity which is not part of the regular, i.e. ordinary MyDataKnox support will be charged for at a price of HRK 200 per hour, or the equivalent amount in a foreign currency. This price doesn’t include VAT and the billing unit is 30 minutes. Some examples of activities beyond the scope of normal support include: web application issues, installation and/or script configuration, etc.
SSL certificates are usually selected on the basis of the type of website and your visitors. If credit/debit card numbers and other valuable information is entered anywhere on your website, we recommend the EV certificate, which provides maximum protection and security. The DV certificate is usually acceptable for any other requirements.
PHP Selector enables your users to select a specific PHP version that they require for their hosting account.
